How do I know when I should come in for a check up?
 Most patients need to schedule a check up every six months. If you experience mouth pain between check ups, you should schedule an appointment immediately. For patients who have suffered with periodontal disease or other problems, we may recommend more frequent appointments. When you visit us, we’ll be happy to schedule your next appointment for six months in the future. We’ll call to remind you of your appointment, so don’t worry about scheduling too far in advance.

I brush every day, but my breath just isn’t fresh. What should I do?
We can help you find the source of your halitosis at your next dental appointment. Regular professional cleanings, as well as good homecare routines that include brushing twice a day, flossing daily, and using a tongue scraper, can greatly improve your breath. We can recommend tooth brushes, mouth rinses, and other products to improve your breath, and we’ll also show you how to properly floss your teeth. During your check ups, we’ll assess your mouth for gum disease, which is often a factor in halitosis. Decay, plaque, and bacteria can contribute to mouth odor, too. If you suffer from bad breath, come see us immediately. You should not have to endure the embarrassment of halitosis.

I want my front teeth to look better, but I don’t want to wear braces. What do you suggest?
Bonding and veneers can correct chips, cracks, gaps, and slightly misaligned or damaged front teeth. Veneers actually mask discoloration, as well. Strong and stain resistant, veneers are handcrafted in a lab to our specifications. We can make your smile look completely different, if you want us to. In as few as two appointments, you can have a totally transformed smile with all-porcelain veneers! Bonding, which costs less but does not last as long as veneers, can be applied in our office during a single appointment. Many patients appreciate bonding as a temporary solution (it can last up to 10 years) to aesthetic problems.
