Jaynell, Business and Marketing Manager

Born and raised in Dallas, TX, Jaynell is the proud mom to three grown sons, one of whom is Dr. Songstad. She attended the University of Memphis, majoring in elementary education, where she participated in several academic honor societies. She stays active in her church and enjoys traveling, gardening, reading, and spending time with her six grandchildren.

Julie, Patient Relations Manager / RDA / CDA

Our chairside assistant Julie received her associates of applied science degree with an emphasis in dental assistance. Certified and registered in Tennessee, she worked as a dental assistant for 13 years and has served with Dr. Songstad for almost eight. Julie comes across as very compassionate and enjoys interacting with each patient, making dental visits as pleasant as possible. She has an uncanny ability to remember each patient, and often their specific needs. She also has extensive training and has attended the Nash Institute for Advanced Cosmetic Studies. Julie functions as the office OSHA coordinator. When she’s not here, she enjoys water skiing and cheering on the Tennessee Titans. She has recently made the transition to the front office and enjoys being cross trained in relating to all patients seen on a daily basis.

Ellen, Hygienist

Ellen was born and raised in Kentucky. She graduated from Western Kentucky University with her bachelor's degree in dental hygiene and earned the Hoskins congeniality award of her class. She is a proud alumni of Alpha Delta Pi sorority and enjoys going back and participating in charitable events. In her spare time, she enjoys live music, theatre, and spending time with friends and family. Ellen's warmth and understanding of patients needs make for a comfortable visit and with her bubbly personality, she is sure to make you smile.

Amanda, Hygienist

Amanda was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. She earned her bachelor of science and dental hygiene from Wester Kentucky University. There, she graduated with honors and received the "Award For Clinical Excellence In Dental Hygiene" from the South Central Kentucky Dental Hygienists Association. Her welcoming personality and good sense of humor makes patients feel at ease. She believes that education and individualized treatment are the keys to providing optimum patient care. In her free time you can find her downtown at the dog park with her french bulldog puppy or at a hockey game cheering on the Nashville Predators.

Linda, Chairside Assistant

Our chairside assistant Linda has been a registered dental assistant for 15 years. Working in both Georgia and Tennessee, Linda has experience in all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry. Linda strives to make each visit a relaxing one; customer according to each individuals needs and personalities. Linda lives in Lebanon, Tennessee with her husband and two children. She is active in her church and enjoys bike riding, camping and playing violin.
